going to liaise with them pretty soon.

i'm aiming for them lah hahaha. cos i wanna eat their food.

playing 50 cents and concentration game to pass time while waiting

and when we finally realised the fateful truth

we had to take mrt back to lavender.

i dun wan that to happen cos i dun wan you others to think that

also, i know this is a bad habit or wateva u call it

but whenever i'm upset or disappointed, no matter who,

i seriously dun feel like replying any sms or answering any calls

cos i just cant bring myself to do it without picking up a fight

cos the fight will eventually lead to something worse

i nvr dare to get angry and shoot at anyone cos i know we would end up in a fight

and somehow they would shoot back and me and the focus shifts to me

while i try to debut, i was said as defensive

but honestly saying, i do not deny my error, just that i nvr admit in words
and i sounded defensive probably cos i was trying to tell you the part where you were at fault which normally turns out totally forgotten cos the final sentence would be on my error

thats why

i'd never dare to breathe a word about all these to the other party

cos i scared once all these all out, they may jus fed up and leave

or else it will be a fight and the evil cycle continues.

so in the end

i swallow down all the unhappiness. even if you say: wat u not happy? say!

revived enthusiasm to blog

i suddenly felt my enthusiasm to blog being revived after browsing so many different blogs at work ytd.
some blogs were really entertaining n picture-filled that i feel my passion burning inside me
asking me to do something abt my dead blog
i also chanced upon numerous dead blogs that went
"shud i stop blogging?" "i'll be back!!"
and there were gone forever.
and that reminded me of mine
worse still i din even say i'll be back. hahaha
but seriously i v lazy to blog cos i lazy to upload all my photos.
for those who noe me, or even if you dun, i always take a lot A LOT of photos.
and i lazy to even upload on fb which happens to have a v convenient bulk browser uploading system
needless to say upload one by one on blogger. or bulk upload AGAIN to photobucket den copy link back here again.
that the main reason why my previous posts were mostly words n words only hahaha.

anyway if you are wondering why i was browsing blogs at work,
i'm seriously doing my job kay..
i'm supposed to filter the list of 900 blogs given to me to find out lifestyle, photography and food blogs
mostly for the company. (dun wanna type out the name yet JUST IN CASE it comes up on the search engine haha)
so i browsed ard 150 dead or alive blogs with quite a few very well written one.
make me feel like adorning my dear blog with tons of photos again haha
for now i got nothin to put. maybe i'll start with a bit of camwhore bah? hahahahahahaha

after that i got not much more to post cos i haven been taking picts recently
except for the performance at maha mongallana

this was how agnes commented on baby's long decayed tagboard.
i guess its quite suitable for mine too...

i'm currently working in jobsdb right now~
NO. it is not a recruitment agency
all it does is to post job seeking advertisements
therefore, (omg i miss the three dots shortform)
recruit express n all the other shity recruitment agencies are OUR CLIENT
get it? haha

i'm in a new department, Openrice.com
which is solely operated by me and another lady, Melissa Lim.
no. not the previous mel.
a new n better n prettier mel.
(NOTE TO SELF: PLS INSERT PHOTO HERE)
work a bit busy, no, hectic.
cos we have to finish wat others took one yr or more to do,
in 2 months.

i'm in charge of hiring n coordinating the data-collection callers and photographers
den passing n failling the datas n photos to use n pay for
den sorting out the data n photos to match
den organise their paychecks

interesting to be able to be a part of a whole new start up
which will become a huge name in few months time
(FYI: openrice.com is top 50 most popular website in HK, earning up to $1.3 million per year)
i just hope that this initial data n photo collection can progress smoothly
so we can move on to the launching n events side of the project

however, things hadnt been smooth.
callers are slow n results are not good
maybe due to the payment
but we changed a new payment system, so i hope it will get better
also, thou photos from evon, xj n david are all in,
majority of the bulk (8500/10000) are with jin's team
who havent been giving good standards with the photos

i'm not blaming him for the bad standard
cos melissa gave them too much at one go so they had to divide the task to many other ppl
who might not be as skillful as some. (v obvious digi cam reflections)
i dun mean that digicams cant take good photos...
for instance i'm quite happy with wat my cam produces (thou i dun mind a better one seriously)
but the standard of the photos taken by the digicams are really bad. =S

and they've been postponing the submission of the photos for too long
boss not happy le, keep asking abt the photos
so i really hope he can come in with GOOD n PROPERLY RENAMED photos tml.

so besides monitoring the callers (including new sit in ones starting tml)
i still have to sort photos
and quickly process the paycheck (lots of overdue ones)
and also prepare call lists for new incoming attachment kids on tuesday.
not forgetting to recruit more callers. zzz
and did i mention? i seriously HATE chasing ppl for stuff.

i only pray that everything will go smooth this month

anyway, baby is in thailand now
last week le. no. last 5 days.

work is fun!
okay luh not exactly fun as in forever playing
but i work with pretty cool ppl
they are all nice and fun

esp my boss, Melissa (the new and nice melissa)
since there is just me and her in this whole new department
i assist her in her stuff and we discuss just like fellow colleagues
i sit next to her and we talk abt bf, nails, shoes, laugh at the photog's photos
just like good friends
thou she studied in the states for quite long
she doesnt go all arrogant abt having high qualifications despite being only 23yo
thou i only worked with her for 2 days
i already feel comfortable working with her
we even shared a huge seafood n beef tom yum steamboat pot for lunch ytd
and dinner tgt too!

haha seems like i've abandoned this blog.
cos lately things have been quite stale..
everything that ever happened are also recorded down through picture
which gets uploaded onto facebook
or never

things that are on my mind recently includes:
-finding a job that pays well yet is not too far
-whether or not i should teach tuition
-i still have yet to clean up my room

but the most mind-cracking question that i have in my head now
is
WHERE DO ALL THOSE BLOGSHOP OR BUSINESS PEOPLE GET THEIR SUPPLIES!?!?!?!
ESP LOMO CAMERAS!~~~~~~~

there must be a way to get cheap and reliable supplies from SOMEWHERE
in order for them to sell
i'm sure they must be earning quite a lot from it or else they wouldn dare sell such things with such high costs
take example: would you choose to sell
(A) apples that cost $1 each at $2
or
(B) cameras that cost $99 dolla each at $100

both earns u only $1 but one with a higher cost
obviously you would sell the cheaper one cos you no need so much capital right?

so i do believe they earn quite a fair bit frm selling those cameras...
disagree with wat i said above?
u din get wat i mean. hahaha
cos i myself think that the example above is horrendous.
oh well. its for my ranting anyway. hahahaha

i planned to go bangkok with jeff this march
after much reserching and planning, i'm really excited to go and shop to my heart's fill.
thou i dun noe much but going with him makes me feel safe cos he is street smart enuff and i known him enuff already
so i asked my dad for consent just now
and he dun agree for me to go

not that i dun have a way to it
i knew if i argue with him and cry
he'll say go lah go lah go lah
but i seriously want his understanding
that i'm all grown up and he could give me a chance to prove i can survive
so i really didnt took that as a serious answer frm him
he gave me the reason that i am not mature enuff
and he is worried, no parents is fine with kids going so far away
but to parents, a kid is always a kid
if he never gonna let me, when can i prove it to him?

really sad actually
will miss working with zach they all
cos it was really fun
working tgt like family and coordinating with each other
when i sit ppl down and turn ard, the exact number of menus will be right in front of me.
when i pass them the menu, the exact number of ice water is served.
and they automatically will do the serving of dishes like noodle and cod fish
cos its hot and heavy

so wat am i going to do in the day?
i got totally no idea
actually quite hope to work in the day too

today i spent the whole afternoon fixing a new blog "My Days at Taiwan Lunchbox"
to try to separate my personal blog from the daily happenings at work
so that this blog wun be filled with work stuff like an advertisement board
but more of my thoughts memories and reflections

sore throat was horrible today
even more serious than ytd
so i couldnt eat bread and cake for breakfast

but for ppl like me, who hadnt had the time and patience to pick up that thick book
the movie was pretty fine cos we're more or less into the storyline
the ending was stupid thou
i shant disclose now.

oh. and i'm very unhappy
cos the boss of the rest is unhappy with me drawing a lot on the wall
when the things i drew were not exactly with no reasons
i drew a “再来哦!” and a waiter that says this way please
which i think is totally appropriate
the only thing that i guess i shouldnt hav drawn was the flowers near the ground
cos it didnt really meant anything and was drawn due to boredom
i was too tired and moody frm the 12 hours work in 2 days straight
i had to keep myself awake while waiting for knock off right.

the point is, take note all,
i hate it when sumthin that i did, with little evil intentions or scheming purposes,
were misinterpreted or criticized by others like nobody's business.
many things that i do are with no intention in mind or was meant to be well
but your sincerity and care gets trampled by others like flowers
i treasure you and treat u with sincerity

today is the official day taiwan lunchbox is open for business =]
xiaohei was in charge of the kitchen incoming and outgoing
i was in charge of the sitting of guests upstairs
sogo was in charge of the cashier n takeout counter and sending guests up
zach was my assistant on 2nd floor
sherene was the assistant at 1st floor
shermaine n hiangwee were the runner bringing food up and down and up and down and up and down...............

prob 1: out ordering system cocked up. so we have to manually write the order and bring it down
which means, we'll be running up and down when we already have not enuff ppl. (onli me n zach on 2nd floor)

prob 2: orders chocked at the ordering counter downstairs thus kitchen had to take quite long to get the order n cook the food. which means, customers were waiting.

prob 3: the walkie talkie was not well utilised. i end up placing the talkie aside cos i couldnt even catch wat they were saying. before i could hear anythin, customers were already walking up the stairs. so the talkie kinda lost its purpose of letting me confirm seats availability beforehand. there were guest that came up and i had to say that all seats were filled. =S

den lunch hour passed and break soon came at 3pm.

but this time round is dinner.
and since raffles place is office area, by night, its a dead town

oh. den there was a VIP so they put extra soup in the bowl
so it was too heavy and hot for me, i almost topple the bowl when i was serving -_-||

and i mopped the floor for the 4th time in the day
i dun even think i got mop my house de floor 4 times in a year loh

so dinner was quite slack, esp bar
as seen frm aaron running up and down chatting away.

den i stayed at 2nd level, M-Space, to listen to Angela Zhang's songs
while cleaning up and all
den came down to see a blackface xh =S
i guessed the reason correctly
but i cant do or say much
so jus quickly make sure we go home fast fast loh

and here i am. at home.
going to sleep.

i suggested going to gym with jeff, earlier in the week
but i didnt get much sleep these 2 nights
not cos of work, my body alarm screwed up i guess
so i scared i'll fall asleep, hogging the equipments in the gym
and cancelled the gym

if you ask me why gym?
1) due to hwangbo n hyunjoong couple's unique olympic date for there farewell trip
2) cos i'm getting wider on the bottom

den change to eat chicken porridge at jwest
den to simlim to buy my ds charger (YES SPOILED AGAIN)
den to cats socrates for afternoon tea

but, jeff had to cancel the trip this time round
cos his cadet got injured and he had to go back to camp to do all the paper work etc

den evening, we decide to meet up for dinner den go suntec for electronics fair

but again, jeff couldn make it in time
and by the time we met in jp, it was already 7.30pm
the fair ends at 9pm.

so in the end WAT DID WE DO YTD?
we ate ichiban sushi with YUMMY YUMMY SALMON SASHIMI
and walked ard a bit
and there u go. end of the day.

although we din do much,

this make me worry abt tml de chinese lit paper.

I have to study.
Despite me telling him not to, my dad stil going to play mahjong.
Leaving only my mum taking care of the baby.
Wat makes u think that i can study properly like that?
Of couse i'd come out n help!
I'm furious but i cant complain.
Cos he's my dad.
plus, MY MUM ACTUALLY SIDED WITH MY DAD.
so now its actually MY FAULT that he is going play mahjong
leaving my mum to take care of the baby AND cook AND do the laundry AND mop floor AND change the diapers AND feed the baby AND coax the baby to sleep.

leaving his poor wife at home doing all the chores by herself

i lost my 岳阳楼记 notes. and just nice it came out. =.=
and the compo that i wrote?
my plan was nice, the way i wanna tell the story was nice too , i think
but my plot too long. cos i like to write specific details

in the end i had to compromise and summarise the story
and it became like a super non-artistic primary school compo.

so i had to re write.
so by the time i finish, i no time to do source based

monday i didnt go sch cos i woke up all groggy and headache and difficult to breathe.
i already all prepared, in uniform and all,

the movie was fine but it was full house so our seats quite front =x

den had burger king for dinner and randomly walked around in jp for v long
before deciding to go home at around 7+pm

he walked me home and played a while at the fitness corner downstairs

plus all the walking and exercising
plus the lift v stuffy
i was super dizzy with stars and heatwaves etc
had to get out of lift to catch fresh air

was so engrossed with history and chinese during the holiday study days,
i nvr touch on econs at all.
so had to chiong last night.
i couldnt tahan anymore and it was onli 2am.
asked jiaying to call me at 3am

lucky i woke up at 7am. i didnt even set alarm clock
or else i would have missed the test.

everyone got shocked when we saw DRQ was on economic policies.
even more shocked when we saw the micro essay question was on market failure alone
instead of combining with market structure.
i totally shitted out when i saw "public goods"

all i could write was

Doomsday started today...
cos its first day of new semester and its my first exam paper.
HISTORY. *sound of thunder*

studyin for history was so horibble cos nothing could seriously get into my head
despite going over the sentence 20 times.
what's worse was, i didnt noe exam paper format changed
WTH.
initially, we were only required to do
1 source based question and 3 essay questions for Southeast Asia History
then they changed to
1 source based, 1 INTERNATIONAL HISTORY
and 2 Southeast Asia History questions.

I TOTALLY BLANKED OUT WHEN I SAW THE FREAKING PAPER.
it was after much torture and efforts to get the Southeast Asia essays i prepared into my mind
and it turned out i had to study another question too!!!
meaning, with the source based being a disastrous challenge,
my overall marks for the paper will fail cos i did 2/3 essay questions.
(yes. fail. though i get it a lot but i cant believe i'm failling again after getting a C in A levels)
ARGHHHHHHHH
all i could say to console myself is that luckily i didnt stay up all night to study =.=

anyway, sunday was my sister's baby, YingXuan's Full Month party.
